Kristen Lee is a gemini and she’s not a fan of mosquitoes.
Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kristen Lee is a storyteller based in the Windy City—Chicago. Though she takes an interdisciplinary approach to her work, she is most comfortable working with comics and writing. Her work mainly focuses on the human experience and often arises in the form of a semi-autobiography. Kristen uses primarily comics to create these stories and has a few self published zines.
She also has published work in Xerox Candy Bar (2021-present), F Newsmagazine (2022-present) , Mouth Magazine (2022) and the Phoney Phacades anthology (2022). She has also helped curate and was a part of an exhibition at the John M Flaxman Library. She is currently working on a graphic novel and finishing up her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
